On the morning of June 17, the launch ceremony for Zhejiang Province and Hangzhou City’s first “National Low-Carbon Day” themed promotional campaign was held with great fanfare at the China Hangzhou Low-Carbon Science and Technology Museum. Gong Zheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, and Xu Wenguang, Vice Mayor of Hangzhou, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Also in attendance were relevant leaders from the provincial, municipal, and district levels, heads of relevant departments, and leaders from the China Hangzhou Low-Carbon Science and Technology Museum. During the ceremony, leaders and guests on the podium presented low-carbon science popularization book series to representatives of citizens and volunteers, and jointly pressed the launch button.
The Low-Carbon Technology Museum hosted a low-carbon themed exhibition on-site, featuring a comprehensive display of global, national, and Zhejiang Province efforts to address climate change, as well as the achievements of Hangzhou in building a low-carbon city, presented through a combination of text and visuals. Additionally, dedicated booths were set up for representative companies to showcase their technologies and achievements in the areas of “Low-Carbon Hangzhou, Low-Carbon Energy, Low-Carbon Industries, and Low-Carbon Technologies.” Our company was invited to set up a booth in the Low-Carbon Technology Exhibition Area within the museum. The exhibition primarily introduced our low-carbon and energy-saving technologies, including the conversion of industrial waste gas into valuable resources to produce food-grade liquid carbon dioxide meeting international quality standards and its downstream products, as well as the treatment of organic exhaust emissions.
Following the ceremony, provincial and municipal leaders enthusiastically toured the on-site low-carbon themed exhibition and the corporate exhibition halls, experiencing the unique exhibits. Our company’s General Manager, Shen Jianchong, introduced several of our low-carbon and energy-saving technologies to Governor Gong, Mayor Xu, and their delegation—including our proprietary, internationally certified food-grade CO₂ production technology that transforms industrial waste gas into valuable resources, as well as our volatile organic compound (VOC) exhaust treatment technology. He also addressed technical questions raised by Governor Gong. General Manager Shen stated that the company will closely align with the national, provincial, and municipal goals of “Beautiful China Dream, Low-Carbon China Journey” and “Building a Beautiful Hangzhou, Constructing a Low-Carbon City,” further improving low-carbon technologies to contribute to energy conservation, environmental protection, and the circular economy.
